Stellplatz at Bad Sobernheim

Getting closer to the Rhine valley, where we’re hoping to arrive tomorrow.  This is another first class site, for €7 a night and loads of space.  We  laughed earlier on having lunch when we were asked to move pitch by an old lady whose house border the Stellplatz, as the one we were occupying didn’t allow dogs, so after lunch we moved bit by bit tables, chairs and dog to about 20 meters away from the offending spot.  Apart from that, it’s been another lovelysunny and warm day.

We left just before 9 am this morning after paying for bread we’d ordered the night before and followed motorway north to Alzey and then the E41 to Bad Dreuznach and to Bad Sobernheim.  We arrived at 10.30, had coffee and went for walk past the crazy golf area and then back to the town: it’s more modern than the ones we’ve visited before, but very clean, neat and tidy.

We’ve just lounged around for most of the afternoon, reading and sunbathing.  I cooked spaghetti carbonara with some local ham and left-over salmon from last night: absolutely delicious.  We’re going to have an early night and try to make it to Bacharach or beyond tomorrow according to how we feel.

About fatimasaysell

Travelling is my passion. Ever since I was a young girl I've been wanting to see the world. I studied languages to make this dream possible and I love meeting people from different cultures and countries. Having a motorhome since 2010 has made this possible and I hope I'll be able to retire travelling in one.
